I love ice cream. It does not matter what time of year it is if someone asks if I want ice cream I will say yes.  A long time ago, I had an ice cream machine, and a few years back I got rid of it, now I am regretting that decision. But it has been my mission to create the perfect no machine ice cream, and so far this is my winner.

no machine icecream

Ingredients:

2 cups of Heavy Whipping Cream

1 can sweeten condensed Milk

1 vanilla bean

1 cup of fresh strawberries, crushed

1/4 cup chocolate chunks

Method:

strawberry and chocolate chunk icecream

In a mixer, mix together the heavy whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk and the seeds of one vanilla bean. Meanwhile, slice and crush the strawberries. Mix until the mixture forms stiff peaks. Once the mixture is formed fold in the strawberries and chocolate chunks. Line a dish, I used a bread pan, with parchment paper and pour in the mixture. Cover and place in the freezer for a few hours until it hardens.

Serve and Enjoy!!
